Cybil’s role:
I’m responsible for fostering cross-departmental collaboration, ensuring key projects are executed efficiently, and serving as a trusted advisor to the entire team to ensure operational excellence and alignment with the organization’s strategic plan across functions. I strive to proactively identify and resolve challenges, optimize internal operations, and support the growth of the Foundation and team.
What Cybil likes most about working at the Foundation:
I love being part of the solution to big challenges, internally as we grow and externally as we address disparities in our local community. It’s an honor to do this work and be a part of this team.
What Cybil did before:
For nearly a decade, I’ve been building the operations and donor relations functions here at the foundation, and I’ve spent most of my career in nonprofit leadership, developing and implementing customer experiences. Before joining the Foundation, I worked in the education and museum field for 15 years. I’m most proud of my work expanding our community’s children’s museum, the Thinkery. Ensuring families with toddlers had a great experience prepared me to create customer experiences for any audience!
Cybil’s favorite thing to do in Central Texas:
I love biking, hiking, and playing in the river. Those things are most enjoyable when my husband, two children, and dog can join me. I also love Austin’s live music scene, and I am a supporter of the arts.
