Rebekah’s role: I manage a portfolio of fundholders, supporting them in creating and achieving their philanthropic goals. I also work to increase support for ACF programs by connecting areas of alignment between new and existing donors’ philanthropic missions and ACF’s strategic priorities.
What Rebekah likes most about working at the Foundation: I have a strong passion for philanthropy and unleashing the power of generosity. I’m excited to have recently joined ACF to support the impact of our fundholders.
What Rebekah did before: I graduated from Wittenberg University with degrees in Political Science and French and have spent more than a decade in political and nonprofit fundraising. Prior to joining the Foundation, I served as director of advancement for IDEA Public Schools in Austin, securing more than $20 million in private philanthropy for the organization during a period of high growth.
Rebekah’s favorite thing to do in Central Texas: I love taking advantage of Austin’s evolving restaurant scene with my husband and two children. I also serve on the board of Partners in Parenting, a nonprofit that provides support to those in Central Texas who are navigating early parenthood.
