Julissa’s role: As Operations Coordinator, it is now part of my role with Austin Community Foundation to maintain the Foundation’s database, provide IT support for Foundation staff members and support Foundation Operations and Donor Relations.
What Julissa likes most about working at the Foundation: I am thrilled to be working at the Foundation with like-minded people who are as passionate about philanthropy as myself. There are constantly new opportunities to learn and make a difference in our work and community that I anticipate experiencing.
What Julissa did before: My past work experience is in data entry, accounting, HR work and customer service. I am finishing my AA in Marketing with a focus on International Studies. I also actively participate in a program which opens opportunities for students to explore the world and the many cultures that inhabit it called the Global Scholars scholarship.
Julissa’s favorite things to do in Central Texas: My favorite past times here in Central Texas are to run, bike, read and explore local art and music.
