Sara’s role: In my role, I lead a team and provide oversight of the Foundation’s grantmaking processes, scholarship program, and operationally complex funds.
What Sara likes most about working at the Foundation: I love that I get to use my strengths to support and improve the complex operations of the Foundation, working alongside others who are dedicated to uplifting and empowering Central Texans.
What Sara did before:Prior to joining the Foundation, I worked at the Department of State Health Services in the Title V Maternal and Child Health Division. Previous to that role, I worked for Special Needs Consultants, LLC. Additionally, I have taught music lessons for over a decade. I completed a double major in music and mathematics at Southwestern University.
Sara’s favorite thing to do in Central Texas: I have many hobbies and enjoy doing anything creative, playing board games with friends, and watching a good tv show. I am an aspiring gardener and amateur bird enthusiast.
