Robin’s role: My job is to directly support the finance department in various financial tasks. I am responsible for detailed general ledger entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, monthly investment work, asset revaluation at year end, accounts payable processing, and sales and property tax.
What brought Robin to the Foundation:When searching for a new job, I had a desire to work at a company whose product or service made an impact in improving our future. Austin Community Foundation was the perfect choice since the organization’s primary objective is to help improve the community where we live.
What Robin did before: I spent 22 years working at Austin Ventures as a Staff Accountant. While there I was in charge of preparing financial reports, entering journal entries, reconciling bank statements, and managing the database. I graduated from St. Edward’s University where I received my Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in accounting.
Robin’s favorite things to do in Central Texas: I enjoy horseback riding, walking, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with my family.
