Jordan’s role: My role is to provide assistance in all financial matters of the Foundation and its subsidiaries and supporting organizations, including financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, monthly investment reconciliations and oversight, asset revaluation at year-end, and oversight of lending activity.
What brought Jordan to the Foundation: I love how a community foundation brings people together to support local needs and initiatives. It creates a sense purpose for my work.
What Jordan did before: I received my B.S in Accounting and M.B.A in Business Management at Jackson State University. My 7 years of accounting experience entails:
- 4 years at HORNE where I worked in the governmental services department auding government funds.
- 1 year at Standish Management where I worked within the Fund Administration practice doing fund accounting for four different private equity companies.
- 2 years at Ovation Partners, later known as Mount Logan Management where I was ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing fund accounting, and supporting investment activities.
Jordan’s favorite things to do in Central Texas: In Austin, you will find me playing golf, spending time with friends, and enjoying live music in my free time. I love exploring the city and diving into the culinary scenes which keeps me busy because there seems to be a new restaurant popping up every other day.
