At Austin Community Foundation, we believe everyone in Central Texas deserves to thrive. That’s why we invest resources toward closing the opportunity gap through our signature programs: The Black Fund, Hispanic Impact Fund, and Women’s Fund.

I’m excited to share that ACF will award $1.5 million in unrestricted general operating support this year through a combined grants process. For the first time, the grants cycles for The Black Fund, Hispanic Impact Fund, and Women’s Fund are happening concurrently, each awarding $500,000 in grants to Central Texas nonprofits.

We take feedback from our community seriously and have adjusted our timeline to make it easier for organizations to apply for funds from multiple programs through a single application. We also considered the grants cycle’s timing so nonprofits can apply during the summer months instead of the fall, which is a busy season for many organizations.

Nonprofits operating in Bastrop, Burnet, Caldwell, Hays, Travis, or Williamson counties are encouraged to apply through one application to any or all three signature programs.

Organizational Readiness Tool

Nonprofits interested in applying for funding are encouraged to use ACF’s organizational readiness tool to determine if this grants cycle is right for your organization and, if so, which fund(s) align best with your organization.
