Yolanda’s Story

Yolanda started her small business by selling Mexican food at a bustling construction site in downtown Austin.
After initial success, she soon realized she did not have the necessary capital to run the business efficiently.

Education is key for Britney and her two daughters

Britney is a mother of a two. She got pregnant at age 18 and then again at age 19. Being a young mother of two, she knew it would be tough, maybe even impossible, to work and provide her daughters with good, affordable child care. By securing a job with Open Door Preschool, she was able to reenter the workforce and obtain subsidized high-quality education for her children.

The flip of a coin changed Gabe’s life.
