Our investments
The Housing Accelerator Loan Fund has provided 10 loans to affordable housing developers since 2023, totaling over $17.9 million to create more than 1,200 new units in the Austin area. These investments have supported housing for people with disabilities, people experiencing chronic homelessness, youth aging out of foster care, seniors citizens, survivors of domestic violence, and other many families seeking a place to call home.

Goodnight Ranch

- 47 units for homeownership developed by Austin Habitat for Humanity
- Located in Southeast Austin
- $2.3 million bridge loan
- 2.5% with an 18-month term
- Serving households earning less than 80% AMI
Ovetta Rosedale

- 70 rental units for a variety of income levels with onsite Pre-K available
- Located in Central Austin
- $2 million subordinate construction loan
- 2.5% rate with a 2-year term
- Serving households earning 30-80% AMI
Bailey at Berkman

- 104 rental units, a quarter of which are reserved for individuals who have experienced chronic homelessness
- Located in Northeast Austin
- $2 million loan for land acquisition
- 2.5% rate with a 1-year term
- Serving households earning 30-60% AMI
The Sasha

- 60 rental units reserved for survivors of domestic violence and their families, developed by The SAFE Alliance
- Located in Central Austin
- $2 million subordinate construction loan
- 2.5% rate with a 2-year term
- Serving households earning 30-50% AMI
Persimmon Point

- 126 units for homeownership developed by Austin Habitat for Humanity
- Located in Southeast Austin
- $3 million bridge loan
- 3% rate with a 2-year term
- Serving households earning less than 80% AMI
Sunset Ridge

- 438 rental units for families and individuals to be built by Manifold Development
- Located in Southwest Austin
- $1 million loan for pre-development
- 3% rate with a 1-year term
- 220 units for households earning between 50-80% AMI
Cameron Senior Housing

- 82 rental units with service-enriched housing for independent seniors to be built by National Church Residences
- Located in Northeast Austin
- $1 million loan for land acquisition
- 2.5% rate with a 2-year term
- Serving households earning 30-80% AMI

- 38 units for homeownership developed by Industry ATX
- Located in Southeast Austin
- $600,000 pre-development loan
- 3% rate with a 1-year term

Lamar Square (The Bloom)

- 150 unit rehab and 400 new units for adults with intellectual disabilities in partnership with Foundation Communities and Mary Lee Foundation
- Located in South Austin
- $2 million loan for land acquisition
- 2.5% rate with a 2-year term
- Serving households earning 30-60% AMI
Cady Lofts

- 100 units with onsite services for people transitioning out of homelessness
- Located in Central Austin
- $2 million loan for construction
