Housing & Support Services

On October 22 Women’s Fund investors convened around the Fund’s housing strategy statement. Their work will help shape a revised strategy statement and housing grant process centered in racial equity.

We were honored to be joined by UT Law Professor, Mechele Dickerson, who shared her expertise and work, which focuses on racial inequalities related to home ownership.

 

Education

Please join us on October 27 as we shift the strategy of our collective work to meet this moment. Our workshop will be focused on the Women’s Fund’s education strategy statement, and at the end of our time together, we will have a revised strategy statement centered in racial equity to guide our future grants cycles.

We’re pleased to be joined by Dr. Knatokie Ford, who will share her insights and leadership on the educational landscape. Dr. Ford is the Founder and CEO of Fly Sci® Enterprise, LLC, and former Senior Policy Advisor for the Obama White House Office of Science & Technology.

Women’s Health & Unintended Pregnancy Prevention

Please join us on November 10 as we shift the strategy of our collective work to meet this moment. Our workshop will be focused on the Women’s Fund’s unintended pregnancy prevention and (new!) women’s health strategy statements, and at the end of our time together, we will have a new and revised strategy statements centered in racial equity to guide our future grants cycles.

We’re pleased to be joined by Lourdes Rodriguez, Sr. Program Officer at St. David’s Foundation. Lourdes brings numerous years of experience in the public health field and prior to her role at St. David’s Foundation, she served as Director of Community-Driven Initiatives at Dell Medical School.
