The Housing Accelerator Loan Fund offers fast-acting, early-stage financing to accelerate the production of housing across a spectrum of income and product types.

Financing Options

  • Loan Types: Land acquisition, pre-development, bridge financing, and subordinate construction.
  • Terms: Flexible terms, up to six years, but typically between one and three years. 
  • Size: Loans range from $500,000 to $4 million. We invest in projects of all sizes in a wide range of units.   
  • Property Types: We finance various property types, including vacant land, existing operating properties, permanent supportive housing, multi-family, and residential units.  



Organizations that meet the following criteria are encouraged to apply for financing: 

  • Focuses on producing or preserving affordable housing units for Central Texas residents earning less than 80% of median family income (MFI)
  • Works in at least one of the following counties: Bastrop, Burnet, Caldwell, Hays, Travis or Williamson
  • Supports vulnerable or difficult to sere populations



Once you have reviewed the eligibility requirements and you know which financing you are interested in, please submit the intake form below. Once submitted, you will be contacted by an ACF staff member about your application within 5-10 business days.
