All Together ATX announced $2.2 million in grant funding will be disbursed to 70 nonprofits working to support communities experiencing economic and health-related hardships caused by COVID-19 in Central Texas.

Local nonprofits are not only seeing more inequities because of the pandemic but they have also been forced to accelerate their own transformation to address these inequities.

Austin Community Foundation announced today a $1 million impact investment in the form of a low-interest rate loan to Austin Habitat for Humanity’s East Austin affordable housing development. The 11 row homes currently under construction in the Mueller neighborhood will serve individuals and families earning less than 80% median family income, or $75,500 (and below) for a family of four.

Since the local outbreak of COVID-19, Austin Community Foundation has quickly and effectively mobilized funding and resources to respond to needs of our community.

Austin Community Foundation announced today a $50,000 grant from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation to the Hispanic Impact Fund to support workforce development and entrepreneurism for Hispanic individuals and families in Central Texas.
