Kim’s role: As a part of the Community Impact team, I manage the Women’s Fund, in addition to assisting with Community Grants and other initiatives at ACF.
What Kim likes most about working at the Foundation: Our community is filled with so many passionate, empathetic, and impactful individuals, and I get to meet so many of them through my work at the Foundation.
What Kim did before: A life-long arts advocate, the majority of my career has been in nonprofit arts management and education. Upon completing my graduate degree at Columbia University, I’ve managed institutional fundraising for opera and theatre companies, most notably Roundabout Theatre Company (New York, NY), Opera New Jersey (Princeton, NJ), and ZACH Theatre (Austin, TX). My first job after graduating from The University of Texas at Austin was teaching choral music in Texas public schools.
Kim’s favorite thing to do in Central Texas: One of my favorite things to do is introduce my young daughter to all of the incredible parks and cultural events Austin has to offer.
