Amy’s role: As a senior member of the team, I provide best-in-class donor service to fundholders, both long-time and new, to help them meet their philanthropic goals. I also lead the Foundation’s Planned Giving program and serve as the primary contact for our rural community partners.
What Amy likes most about working at the Foundation: It fills my heart to get to know people and find ways to connect their generosity and passion with causes that are important to them. It brings me joy when we discover ways for their donations to make a meaningful impact and make a difference in people’s lives as well as our community. It’s wonderful to be a part of making good things happen!
What Amy did before: I’ve worked in numerous roles at the Foundation dating back to 1992 when there were just 83 funds and $5.3 million in assets. Before joining the Foundation, I worked in the hospitality industry and in real estate in Colorado.
Amy’s favorite thing to do in Central Texas: I most enjoy spending time with my husband, daughters, family, friends, and furry grand animals. You may find me in the hill country enjoying the outdoors and wildlife, fishing in the Texas bays, walking the hike and bike trail, or doing jazzercise. I love to make new friends from all walks of life!
