Grant Opportunities

The Austin Community Foundation makes grants to improve the quality of life for everyone in our community. We offer several grant opportunities.

Community Grant Program

Our Community Grant Program is the central portal for applying for and receiving grant funds from the Foundation. We provide grants to nonprofits working in our eight Community Impact Areas. Applications are accepted year-around through our online application. By matching nonprofit grant requests to the interests and resources of our funds and fund holders, we ensure your request is funded at the highest level possible so you can focus on doing good.

Central Texas Long-Term Hurricane Recovery Fund

In the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, the Central Texas Long-Term Hurricane Recovery Fund was created to support revitalization in areas neighboring Central Texas. Organizations are encouraged to submit proposals for the work they are doing to address the long-term needs of affected communities, specifically on projects that support recovery in three key areas: housing, human services and economic development.
