What Estevan does at the Foundation
Estevan leads the development and growth of the Hispanic Impact Fund and assists in the execution of the Foundation's portfolio of programs.

What Estevan did before
In 2018, Estevan earned his master's degree from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin. During his time at The LBJ School, he worked with Texas CASA's public policy and legislative advocacy division throughout the 85th Texas Legislative Session and interned in Washington, D.C. with U.S. Congressman Gene Green of Houston. Before starting at Austin Community Foundation, Estevan was the Executive Coordinator to the President and CEO at Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute.

Giving Back
Estevan loves to support political campaigns for Latinos and candidates of color across the state of Texas. Additionally, he represents his alma mater, Rice University, as a volunteer fundraiser for the Rice Annual Fund, a volunteer admissions interviewer and as a Homecoming & Reunion Ambassador.

Estevan can normally be found at various coffee shops around town, favorites include Cuvée and Houndstooth Coffee. He is also known to cheat on coffee with a margarita from El Techo Mezcaleria from time to time.
