What Amy does at the Foundation
As a senior member of the team Amy provides best-in-class donor service to fundholders, both long-time and new. She manages a portfolio of funds with the goal of guiding donors in meeting their philanthropic goals. Amy also leads the Foundation's Planned Giving program and serves as the primary account manager for all nonprofit funds.
What Amy did before
Since 1992, Amy has played numerous roles starting back when there were just 83 funds and $5.3 million in assets. Before joining the Foundation, she worked in the hospitality industry and real estate in Colorado.
Amy has most recently served on the PTA for her daughters’ elementary, middle and high schools, working with the Save Our Teachers fundraising effort, chairing the Community Advisory Council at O. Henry Middle School and chairing the Academic Excellence Fund at Austin High School. She coached girls’ volleyball at WAYA and served as the Volleyball Commissioner. Amy also serves on the Austin High School Campus Advisory Council.
