Hispanic Impact Fund RFP Opens
AUSTIN, Texas – Austin Community Foundation announced today a request for proposals (RFP) for the Hispanic Impact Fund, which provides grant funding to support the economic security and advancement of Hispanic and Latino communities in Central Texas.
The Hispanic Impact Fund will award a combined total of $180,000 in 2019 to six nonprofits that work in the following areas:
- Early Childhood Education with a focus on pre-K readiness
- Health & Wellness with a focus on health education and access to healthcare
- Job Skills & Entrepreneurship with a focus on small business access to capital and workforce development
Information about the proposal requirements, eligibility criteria and the application process can be found online. The deadline to submit a letter of inquiry is Friday, Aug. 23, 2019.
The Hispanic Impact Fund is a giving network established in 2017 to leverage the assets, resilience and strength of the Central Texas Latino community to invest in nonprofit solutions. Last year, Austin Community Foundation awarded $180,000 from the Hispanic Impact Fund to six nonprofits in the Austin area.
