Central Texas Long-Term Hurricane Recovery Fund Request for Proposals

Austin Community Foundation has released a request for proposals (RFP) for the Central Texas Long-Term Hurricane Recovery Fund to support revitalization in areas neighboring Central Texas devastated by Hurricane Harvey. Organizations are encouraged to submit proposals for the work they are doing to address the long-term needs of affected communities.

The grants focus on projects that support recovery in three key areas: housing, human services and economic development. Grant awards will vary, depending on need, and will not exceed $250,000 per project. Additionally, organizations should not request more than 40% of the overall project budget. Preference will be shown to organizations working in under-resourced communities that neighbor Central Texas.

Shortly after Hurricane Harvey made landfall on the Texas coast last summer, Austin Community Foundation, Capital FactoryEntrepreneurs Foundation of Central Texas, LiveOak Ventures, MFI Foundation, and United Way for Greater Austin teamed up to coordinate the efforts of the Central Texas philanthropic community.  Through the Central Texas Long-Term Hurricane Recovery Fund, we are committed to supporting affected communities on the long journey ahead.

Applications for the Central Texas Long-Term Recovery Fund are now closed.
